As many bad shyt as has happened to thier planes recently.

Are thier planes a necessity?

every since they went from having engineers and people emphasized who emphasized quality/safety versus this new penny pinching/cheap maximize shareholder money CEOs of the last 2 plus decades, you've seen the results.

Too many sorties (flights).

The airline industry over the past 30 years has grown exponentially. And too keep up with demand, it’s damn near impossible to get thru scheduled maintenance the RIGHT way and meet schedules.

And consumers treat flying now like they riding a greyhound bus. No patience.

Given the number of employees has as well as the massive supply chain infrastructure many people argue that Boeing is the most important company in America. The economy would nosedive if they got Boeing out the paint.
