people trash this movie simply because it went overbudget and lost money.

but was actually a fun enjoyable movie. Essentially if you like Mad Max you would like this, Its just on the water instead of desert.

I fukking loved the guyver movies. I really wish someone would do more of them whether more original styled ones or ones closer to the manga. If theres a manga/movie adaptation where i feel like go nuts is the directive, then its the guyver franchise



movie is a motherfukking classic. this movie made me want to cross the street when seeing a crazy motherfukker like willem defoe too.
id seen this a few times as a kid and then as i got older i found out they made an alternate ending to this to try to appeal to the screeners that didnt like how dark the original was, but it didnt make sense so they kept the original

Kevin Costner is hard to digest in this film. As he is so unlikeable to the kid in this. That creates disconnect that makes it hard to stomach the main character. Plus give him grace as this hero.

Movie is way better than discussed. Yet I know why they still dissed rhis movie. When it fits in that weird. Why did they diss this movie that bad discussion pile. Similar to John Carter.
Movies that got neg press from factors.
that have nuffin to really do with the movie.

Water world is a much better watch than reviewed tho. It is not the worst movie ever. The worst movie ever are the Disney star wars second and third movies. Those are the worst films ever. This movie just needs to shed.
a few bad light scenes of the hero and is way better than pr'd.
This and John caryer arr both way better than reviewed. Someone in pr and marketing for these two films had it in for these projects.

Water world only has one contentious issue. Keeping it from being a dark horse great adventure movie. Which by adventure movie standards. It could have more darkhorse supporters as rhe decades have gone by tbh. It is nowhere near.
as bad a film.

Both this and Jon Carter need to be re-rated over to be completely honest.
