Students at UNCP face harassment by Lumbee natives with guns, racial slurs and maga support in the city of Pembroke, NC. These Lumbee's are something else, man. African American blood runs deep in their lines. We must never forget the words of Dr. John Henry Clarke "Black people have no friends". This has been one hell of a week race relations in eastern NC. Let's see how the university and local community handles this. Black students make up 31% of the student population. Those students need to remember that NC is home to the most HBCU's in the US.

You are correct about that. I've been there many times. My wife has family in Rowland. I have a good friend V. Leach that's from there. Those Lumbees are no friends of ours.

Yea, if you’re from the area or been there quite a bit, then you’d know Lumbee’s are prejudiced as hell, and are bigots.

My grandmother lives in Lumberton, which is where quite a few Lumbees live. It’s right next to Pembroke. My aunt has worked at health centers in both Pembroke and Hope Mills. She has experienced racism from Lumbee’s while doing her job. Said a lot of the elder Lumbee’s don’t want anyone black taking care of them.

My grandmother, who went to UNCP, been telling anyone who’d listen that they don’t like black folks. She went on a tirade about them when I saw her a couple of weeks ago.
