Here’s a detailed summary of what was explained:

The game is a combination of what was learn with Uncharted 2, Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us.
The team has kept the following points in mind: high adventure, teamwork and fast movement.
The multiplayer portion of the game runs at 900p, 60 FPS. Single player will remain 1080p, 30 FPS. Dropping to 900p wasn’t a though decision. It made the least paiful as possible for the studio to accomplish its goals. It was worth it to achieve 60 FPS.
There’s a wide variety of new gameplay mechanics: mystical items (they can activated by players giving them “magical” abilities), sidekicks, the rope and a wide variety of ways to cross the map, and gear.
In the beta and for release of the game there will be five mystical items. Three have been introdiced today:
The Wrath of El Dorado from Uncharted: you can launch it in the middle of enemies and it spawns a sarcophagus that emits power that will seek and damage them.
The Cintamani Stone from Uncharted 2: it emits apulse around you and it revives downed comrades. It also revives you if you fall.
The Spirit of the Djinn rom Uncharted 3: lets you teleport for short distances and you can down an enemy in two hits in melee.
Uncharted 4‘s multiplayer is a combination of as many Uncharted games as possible.
Each character has lines specifically voice acted for him orher, si there’s a lot of variation for the same action.
The store from The Last of Us has been ported to Uncharted 4. It includes mystical items, heavy weapons, gear upgrades and sidekicks. You can purchase them with “cash” you earn during matches.
Map are designed differently than in previous games where you could be attacked at all times feom all directions, like in an arena. in Uncharted 4 there’s a concept of “front,” with maps that funnel players to it in order to encourage teamwork.
Down status is back, to encourage teamwork and reward players that stick close to each other.
In normal conditions, downing an enemy takes three melee hits.
Sidekicks earn cash for you. They have limited health, but if they arent hit for a certain amount of time, they regenerate.
The sniper is made to defend a position.
The savior gives you ammo, and makes your gear regenerate faster after used. It also reives you and your allies.
The hunter puts nearby enemies in a hold, allowing you to shot them.
The brute can take a lot of damage but also has a lot of firepower. It’s slow, but it can move either towards an enemy or follow you.
Sidekicks also have their own lines and banter like normal characters.
The beta will include team deathmatch mode.
You’ll be able to unlock customizations for sidekicks, their ability will also be modifiable with loadout points (that return from The Last of Us).
Some of the mystical items (like the Wrath of El Dorado) will be color code to indicate which tam spawned them.
Naughty Dog will talk about co-op later.
The Last Of Us influenced a lot the multiplayer of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

What in the actual fukk compels them to put revive in multiplayer :dwillhuh:
Like..... huh??????:why:
Healing a downed ally is not the same as reviving.
Anyway looks like they borrowed from TLOU. Also y'all gotta wait and see, there's so little shown to even gauge how things will work. We don't even know what type of playlists will be there.

Yes and the picking up downed teammates in MP looks lame. Keep that in coop.
This ain't UC3 though. You're thinking of UC3 MP but with downs. This is a new game thus the game was obviously built with it in mind. We'll see how it plays out during the beta. No sense in applying old game logic to a new game.

Yup, let's just back seat design a game that we don't know anything about because we're experts.

I think It'd be smarter to give feedback... you know...... AFTER playing the game but no, let's have them nerf some stuff and take things out today.
I never understood dudes making calls for what should go/stay in something they haven't played. You sounding like the premature dudes who were saying Halo 5 MP is ruined because it had sprint and some sort of ADS and yet when the beta came out found out that it was completely not how they thought it would be and it was actually implemented well.

Applying common damn sense is obviously a foreign concept to you I see. :smh:

-The Coli ya'll.

Calm down.
No one is irate here. i just get :snoop: when I see premature shyt like "No take this out!" type posts for MP games before even playing them. Trust me, I'm the last person to just blindly co-sign anything that happens in UC MP. I was always leaving feedback on UC3 forums for a while as I played it consistently so my opinions aren't just someone who thinks everything is gravy. I think I can speak for UC MP. I put in hundreds of hours in UC2/3 MP. :wow: I could talk about the issues I had with UC3 MP for days.

I 100% agree. I much prefer solid single player games. I don't fukk with multiplayer much at all. shyt doesn't excite me. I need a story, not just mindless killing. Call me a casual all you want, but I don't really give a fukk about competitive multiplayer shyt :manny:
Then GTFO the thread!
:what:
