It needs to be investigated and investigated by an independent third party. If a natural disaster like this occurred in a western nation and something like this happened due to bad practice by the UN - heads would roll. Haiti should be no different.

The UN is an international organization that was soley set up to protect human rights and values. Just because they people that they were sent to help are governed by corrupt politicians, does not give them carte blanche to flout procedures/human rights.

Jamaica is just if not more violent and also poor....Though I hear the Dominican Republic is doing better than due to being the West''s bytch for centuries the country is still poor and crime infested...Haitians have done so bad historically due to the Western powers blackballing them from the world economy and eveninvading then replacing righteous Haitin leaders with their puppets in retaliation for Haiti being the only black country to be formed by succesfully winnnga a slave revolt against an Western power(France)...This stuff is common knowledge to anyone whom knows the basic's on Haiti's history..

jamaica is nowhere near haiti's poverty level...not sure about violence..i know jamaica has lots of rivaling gangs with political affiliation but lynchings happend everyday in haiti

That's a difficult question...Personally I would like to see an international Pan African organization formed that looks after the interest of black people and comes to the aid of their brothers in time of need but i'm no sure there are enough concious blacks whom have the power to achieve this in an really impactufl way.
