You do understand that the ideaology behind the school Umar was talking about starting is a bit far right compared to most of the schools which are usually religion backed or White business backed...

The whole "Tariq jumped on the pro-black wave" recently is incorrect. One of the earliest episodes on his macklessons page is called "c00ning". That was from 2006. Message to White America...Bullshistory...Secret societies..etc. These were from circa 2007 IIRC. He used to talk that Moor/Egypt shyt a lot too. He obviously used to concentrate more heavily on the whole "playa"/"mack" angle and discuss relationships a lot more but he always been on that pro-black shyt. The same way he is now heavily tilted towards conscious shyt but still talks about relationships and random fukkery (hence IZM) He clearly still enjoys that. He may change how much emphasis he places on each one but he has always talked about the shyt he talks about now...social commentary...humour...random fukkery. ..street shyt.

I'm guessing he didn't want to be directly responsible for creating a rift in the conscious community, a lot of us suspected Umar was on the fraud shyt when he originally got exposed by that stripper, and a lot of things he's done since then have made him look funny in the light. I can see why he had a live and let live approach, sometimes it's better to let people hang themselves and build your case against someone over time than it is to go in all gung ho trying to be a hero.

Yes - Tariq comes through with his promises. He is fully funded by Black people to do so. Then he pockets all the revenue. I WISH I would have thought of that. And sure, he gives back or AKA has "receipts" - but what's $5k-15K when you making $300K-$500K+ per documentary.

Both of these men are a mess -- and I side eye anyone who upholds them in high regard. I will say Umar came out in a better light to me this time - I will give him that.
