He clearly lies and contradicts himself about being licensed psychologist. One min he says he is then at a hearing to a board, he denies ever saying it. Yet he has it listed on his website then admits to being a psychologist on the breakfast club

This shyt is 100% on Umar. He should have been 100% strictly about his business and stayed there, but nope he tried to be down on the street level too and thats why he got caught up. All this twitter back and forth and antagonizing comments in lectures, interviews an podcasts towards people who really are with the shyt is why they found it quite comfortable to stay on his neck. There are plenty of people making moves in industries while they do not have the credentials you would assume one would need to have to be in that lane but the difference is they are strictly about their business. They dont draw unneeded attention to themselves, they produce results, and they keep it 100% about the business, Umar failed in all 3 aspects.

And lets be real, the dude had no business asking for millions of dollars to buy a college campus for a major school with absolutely no similar history behind him. The donations he did receive were more than enough for him to start something small in a couple inner city neighborhoods, get some results with people in those communities vouching for him, then expand from there. Nothing wrong with starting small and building with a lot of clout to shield yourself from future questions.

I watched it. He is a doctor he's just not a licensed one. He has a PhD in psychology, a doctorate degree so.

He can say he's a psychologist but he's not licensed to start a business that doesn't take away from his doctorate degree.

IF what you are saying is true...and let's operate under that guise, doesn't that at least SEEM fishy? Doesn't it seem "sketchy"? I don't understand how anyone would want to defend a "Dr." based purely on the technicalities of language. If he was a reputable person (fyck the school shyt) why leave everything up to such vagueness with such small margins or error.

Why not say "I am NOT a practicing psychologist"...instead he says "I am a psychologist...a clinical psychologist" and then leaves it up to a very small margin of the idiosyncrasies of language to bail him out. It's at worst a lie and AT BEST a clever way to mislead people.

Does that kind of person seem trustworthy?

How the hell can you be a doctor but not a licensed one to open a business?

I have a pharm D. Im working with other local black pharmacists to start up a compounding clinic for low income families.

I can do that because of my national license and the T.S.B.P. In order to start any practice, rather it's pharmacy, rehab, psychology, you have to be licensed because you open yourself up for lawsuits if you're not.

The credentials matter so to speak because it means it's probable that he was fraudulent off the rip. Umar is may have all kinds of lawsuits pending.
