Three were freed from the grip of French and German exploitation with Russias backing. South Africa is a part of bloc of countries along with Russia that are creating an alternative form of international trading where countries are seen as equals that isn't controlled by the dollar which is used as a weapon against countries that don't bend the knee.

This happens almost immediately while France has been in those countries since the 1800s and theirs nothing of any significance that can be pointed out which was a benefit.
That's why I support Russia, China and BRICS because I can see what they are aiming to accomplish. Being against them is cheering for the status quo to remain indefinitely.

As soon as Niger has multiple satellites and Burkina faso has a nuclear reactor I’ll have to come in here and admit my perspective is off. I’ll set a reminder to check in yearly.

Remember that time China built the AU a new headquarters building but the entire time, they were eavesdropping and spying on them in the building that they constructed?

Or remember that time the Chinese promised to build a brand new city in Djibouti replacing the old one and they didn't. They just constructed the naval base there and that was that?

Or how about the Chinese only restaurants and facilities in Kenya (on top of knocking up the local women and not taking care of the children) and other countries where Chinese businesses have flooded in to exploit the local economies?

They turned a 3 day special operation to a multi year meat grinder with Russia getting invaded.

Off top that’s a win in my book. Ukraine wasn’t supposed to be able to fend off Russia. The damage they’ve dealt to the second largest nuclear power is unprecedented. And they are still holding Russia back and still holding Russian ground for over a month. Wild
