Don't know much about Women's basketball, but were they good enough to play for USA? It's been known to happen in soccer. The player isn't good enough to play for the country he is born in, but he's good enough to play in another country. So they'll take up residency in a country or use their parents/grandparents ancestory to get dual citizenship to play.

Well Quincy appears quite happy playing in Moscow from what I can tell. Plus the other two ladies who "defected" to play for the Russian basketball team are some of the best players in the WBA. They definately would have made Team USA but chose to play for Russia. Why?
