I do not put economic and individual freedom over black sovereignty and economic rights.
black sovereignty was never under threat that is why kicking out the indians is problematic
and if "black sovereignty" is being used by a person like idi amin to cover up the violation of the individual rights of black people then its very problematic
the whole purpose of black sovereignty IMO is to protect the economic rights and individual rights of black people and there isnt any evidence that economic rights and individual rights of black people increased by kicking out indians
At base, few countries and peoples do, and especially not Asian countries.
countries can do whatever they want but im not aware of any country asian or otherwise that has moved forward without emphasizing economic rights
Sovereignty and economic rights are not mutually exclusive from economic success with a degree of economic and individual freedom.
i have no idea what this sentence means
Japan combines both these values and does better than 95% of the world. I look down on scum libertarians like you.
well lets unpack this, japan has moved forward economically by emphasizing economic rights, they havent moved forward because of "japanese sovereignty" "sovereignty" has nothing to do with economic success, you can have economic success with or without "sovereignty"
by sovereignty im assuming you mean treating minorities like shyt
the examples of uganda is a perfect example of that, they got "sovereignty" but not economic rights, ugandans did not gain any economic rights by kicking out indians
The facts don't support your argument that Uganda suffered for expelling foreigners, yet here you are making it anyway.
Uganda's GDP in 1972 was a meagre 1.491 billion USD. The next year, in 1973, Uganda's GDP rose to 1.702 billion USD. The country's GDP has been rising ever since. Today it is 19.88 billion USD. This growth trend mirrors Uganda's human development index score too. So, contrary to your assertions, Uganda has actually improved in the time since Idi Amin took power and without cacs, hindis, etc. The facts rail against your biased psuedo economic philosophy bullshyt.
are you serious, are you trying to hype up the ugandan economy?
the ugandan economy is one of the worst in the world, increases in GDP is more attributable to a rise in population then anything else
im not even saying that the economy got worse, my point is that it didnt make any difference, ugandans did not get more economic rights and/or economic benefits from kicking out the indians, but they did get a lack of respect for the rule of law and dictators
as far as the numbers you are spitting out, you're an idiot, you cant just look at numbers without some kind of comparison, especially GDP which naturally increases no matter what, every country in existence has grown their GDP since 1973
in this case the best comparison would be kenya, which also had indians, the kenyan GDP is 38 billion, double the size of uganda, and even if you take into account kenya's bigger population the GNP is still higher for kenya
so basically there is zero evidence that uganda benefited from kicking out indians, you can spit ll the so called pro black shyt all you want but there is zero evidence to support the notion that uganda benefited by kicking out indians
The government creates the law and the government can virtually do whatever it wants within a country. Why you think it was illegal to do what was done when the government did it is beyond me.
of course the government can do whatever it wants, that is why the rule of law and individual freedom is important, to stop the government from terrorizing the population the way idi amin terrorized ugandans,
are you that delusional that you think the violation of individual rights and the lack of respect for the rule of law idi amin showed stopped with the indians?
