ya i noticed that sequence during the fight. i was like

cuz i don't think i've ever seen that before in mma. throwing and landing 4 straight rapid-fire punches with the same hand like that on the feet and in the middle of the cage? maybe i'm wrong but i don't remember anything else like that.

DP has slept on boxing, called it in the first page. He really focuses on boxing for his striking as his go to, His boxing coach is Dyah Davis. Even in the open workout, 95 percent of it was just mitts.

I guess my expectations were just too high cuz i was underwhelmed somewhat. Happy with all the results but the markos fight, dont know what it is about nunes girl but she looks like a carrier of STIs..

Takeaways
JJ did much better against gadelha/ andrade who fought a similar fight as torres . As a fan of joanna thats worrying.
In mma anyone can get caught especially when your confidence is shot. For moments during that flurry aldo looked like a goner but then when that liver shot came the emotional dump afterwards is 1 of the greater aspects of the sport.

Its funny the way any time dustin/alveraz pair up there is always some shenanigans like its rasslin. Happy for dustin though use to think he was a poser for the longest time till he took out someone worse (pettis). Alas tho its a feel good moment, to what end? before godard intervened (rightly so) he was practically helpless, if eddie could do that what would khabib do?
