My stream froze, then came back on with showing the remnants of Roadkill Till.

Jorge looks two weight classes smaller

Till is one of those dudes who cuts an absurd amount of weight.

Till (17-1-1) was always seen as one of the larger welterweights in the promotion. He famously compared himself to a “light heavyweight in the welterweight division” after dispatching Donald Cerrone with a first round TKO in 2017.

These words eventually came back to haunt Till after missing weight ahead of his next fight against Stephen Thompson. A harrowing video of his dramatic weight-cut later showcased the severity of his struggle to make 170-pounds.

Darren Till announces move up to middleweight

Thought Till was looking weight drained in the weigh-ins. The brutal KO proved that to me imo.

Didn't help that he was already looking past Masvidal towards Askren either. This is the fight business...better respect the guy in front of you or you can get slept.

Meh, moving back in a straight line and getting clocked with Masvidal throwing his full momentum into the left would have seriously hurt anyone. I think Till's defense combined with Masvidal setting up a perfect punch was a bigger factor than the weight cut.

Fair enough. The man was out from the first punch though. To me he just looked emaciated at the weigh ins. Could that have affected his punch resistance? Possibly...either way, he needs to move up to middleweight imo.

Masvidal just swung on Leon Edwards backstage

Dude landed a full 4 piece+ combination on his ass as the interviewer was still mic'd up yelling "shyt!" as it was happening :russ:

Jorge gotta start getting dropped early in the 1st more often, I ain't never seen him more eager and willing to hand out the instrumentals with bad intentions like he was tonight after that happened:pachaha:

So would I but it seems with him being there tonight the UFC is trying to set Askren up vs the winner

I figure only if Till won. Masvidal probably has no interest in fighting Askren.

Edit: Nevermind. Looks like he will be suspended for some time
