Izzy looked better in this fight than in the last fight like he was much sharper even his footwork was much better

Izzy might as well move up to 205 given his age

Izzy ain’t been the same since the first Alex fight honestly he won the second one on a fluke. If Izzy wasn’t as washed or off his game he beats DDP.

Just look at how good Jon Jones has been for the past 15 years.

It just shows you how difficult it is to stay at the top. Izzy, Usman etc. These guys were amongst the best at their peaks, but it's hard to sustain that level of performance.

Jon Jones still hasn't been beaten, though people might have an argument for the Dominick Reyes fight.

Khamzet next for the belt as long as Strickland doesn’t win because DDP vs Strickland 3 should come first

Then this guy should be next after another fight

Bones and GSP are GOAT level for sure.

GSP took 2 Ls, but came back and avenged those losses then went up, got the middle weight strap, and retired on top :wow:

Khabib undefeated and retired on top, but didn't have as long a run of title defenses as GSP and Bones.

For Izzy, I just don't want to see him losing sad the way Anderson Silva ended his career. :francis:

Izzy had a good run and is a legend but yea it's been obvious for a bit that as cerebral of a fighter as we like to credit him as, he stayed finding himself in precarious situations that his lightning fast reflexes would bail him out of in the past.

But we know what happens with age... and factoring that he was already in his late 20s when he joined the UFC in Dec 2017, it does feel like he got old "quick". But that's the nature of it

I completely forgot about this card, I just found out Izzy lost, @THEREALBRAND is Izzy washed :picard:
He could stick around and be top 10 guy and a gatekeeper for the division, but his days of being a serious contender are over. His chin and his reflexes are gone.
