Nope! Don't wanna see them fight just yet....2 of the brightest prospects in the sport...plenty of fighters left to hide these 2 from each other...2 or 3 years from now...that could be a p4p/for all the marbles type of encounter though
...
Anyway...BJ lasted longer than I thought.....is that the 1st time BJ's ever been dropped...I'm tryna recall. Maybe Jens Pulver flashed him in their 1st fight but other than that...BJ had a legendary chin, man.
Only MMA prospect I put ahead of Yair is Lando...but a lot of you brehs are more knowledgeable about the youngins in the game so, I could be wrong. I'd like to see Yair in there with one more fringe top 10 guy...maybe an awkward pressure wrestler like Guida or a fun kickboxer with savvy and power like Siver. He passes that type of test and he's ready for the back end of the top 10.
Anyone know for sure whether the new judging criteria places more importance on striking than effective grappling or are they equal? Regardless I didn't agree with the Saunders and Lauzon decisions...gonna be a lot of judge fukkery for, at least the first quarter of the year.
Young Sergio...already getting a top 10 scalp @ flyweight...would like to see him come along slowly but DJ has laid waste to virtually the entire division...If he gets 3 more decent wins...I say give lil' showtime his shot...
