Leon is a counter fighter that can't handle pressure at all. Dude lost the exact same way back to back times in the same place.

Jahmal Hill vs. Khalil Rountree is a fight I’ve wanted Dana to make ever since Hill dismissively called Rountree “small” when he was talking about who he considers competitive in the division. Now it’s gonna happen and I can’t wait.

And for the record, I think Rountree is going to win.

oh.

well this isn't shocking then lol

Sean Brady vs Joaquin Buckley would be explosive. Both seem to come into their fights swole, pushing well over the 170lb mark. And Brady’s currently ranked 5th in the division(will definitely move up after this) while Buckley is ranked 6th. Make it happen Dana!

They said Leon brought in some new coaches and did training in a different gym. He had some of his old trainers but not all. Noticed during fight some of previous corner guys not there. And he was back to his dragging himself down attitude between rounds lookin to give up but I didn't hear that familiar voice screaming come on Leon, don't give up Leon. These new guys clearly cld not motivate Leon and he basically laid an egg.

If losing ur belt, fighting in your home country in front of your fans and family and headlining a card built around you can not get you up enough for a fight and avoid u from basically giving up in there. Then you might as well jus say hey ur to collect a cheque and don't give a fukk.

2 problems i see with this, is that leon did his best to convince viewers it was the early AM fight time that was to blame for his belal L, and that he was ready to go because he owed it to his fans.

then, sean brady broke down how bad he thinks leon is at wrestling, how he really shouldn't have gotten away from kamaru in 2 & 3, and how belal saw that and took advantage and he would do the same. he even went so far as to say he would take leons neck -- even though leon had never been submitted -- and he did.

laying an egg is an off day, but i saw it as he got game planned on and his weaknesses got exploited more than even belal did it.

Yeah Leon with the nonsense argument of fighting at 5am. You had the benefit tho of staying in your home country to train and home gym. Other fights had to leave their home n gym to fly to Vegas to get on ufc paid flights to UK to fight so changing time zones from east coast to west coast and interrupt their training. Then fly to UK train for a week in a foreign gym. Foreign food for final training and weight cut and they had to deal wit us to uk time change then fight at 5am too as well. Excuses Leon man, excuses.

Basically he knows n every1 knows be only best Usman 1st time due to lucky leg kick and thag kick was only there as Usman is fighting old and broken. 2 bad knees. He cnt even train hard in them or strength train. So he cnt fun UAH or explode for his take downs. He is basically left to just grapple and hold on cage as can't even bend knees to dip and complete takedowns.

And Leon showed his lack of effort and urgency again vs Colby. He had the size and length advantage fighting Colby and never went for the kill, content to cruise to judges. At some point when do u realize this is still entertainment and dana ufc lookin 2 u as champ or former champ or hosting for UK to put on a show for ppl show more effort or emotion even when loses. Some pride something.

Ufc gotta be thinkin we cn never let him headline anything again.

Leon looks physically washed like Izzy, he got manhandled back2back fights

Izzy had a long reign as champ and was fighting often defending that belt. I can understand izzy body and mental being done and worn out plus with so many fights more tape for coaches to find your weakness and dissect your style.

Leon got that belt and jus chilled barely fought and looked tired almost annoyed that he had to fight more than once a year and head pp cards.

It's obvious what's up with Leon and honestly I cnt blame em I wld be same ways. N he finally got belt. And every1 knows as champ you make the real money defend it with ppv points. He finally got sum M's from dat Usman rematch and then Colby n sd forgot training hard. Forget hard sparring gettin cut up in gym. I got da bag, I'm still young and relative healthy can exit ufc and facing killers and maybe fight a cpl exhibition boxing marches mk money and retire to my moms jerk chicken shop. I'm not trying to end up broken like Usman and others who fought older
