Lets Cut Anderson some slack brehs:mjcry:

......The high of being the Baddest mf alive must be the strongest drug ever....Hell Even Mike Tyson and Roy couldn't stay away....they willing to risk their golden years just to feel that feeling once more

Maybe its the one last hurrah thing....that "i gotta go out on top" thing...or just a "Fight forever" mentality

Bernard Hopkins had to literally get beaten outta the ring before he was forced to hang it up:mjcry:

Lettuce remember the glory days

 strikeforce was the shyt too

What happened?

Zuffa bought them out and held events as owners for 2 years while bringing their talent over to the UFC until '13.

I remember Helwani telling a story about Coker standing in the aisle of the arena at the final SF card and just looking on like he was letting go of family. :wow:

After sleeping on it I gotta say Silva should’ve retired after the second Weidman fight when he broke his leg. Over the last seven years he’s been a glorified sparing partner and out of respect they didn’t knock him out. An almost winner is always a loser and a almost loser that won is still a winner. It’s heartbreaking to see his head bounce off the ground. Only good parts was that he fought in Brazil, Australia, Brooklyn, and London so fans in those places could see him but it wasn’t him him.

He tried to retire after the first weidmen loss but Mr. " I'm trying to protect Anderson by denying him anymore fights" bashed Anderson until he came back and broke his leg. He did the same to GSP after the Hendricks fight but GSP moved smarter and stayed retired until he saw fit to return.
