Seriously, even "mediocre" professional fighters can destroy the average guy with ease. Matter of fact, on any giving night in Vegas, you may run into ~40-50 amateur guys who will absolutely break you down. Only thing they are worried about is how long it will take.

Yep. A good lot of brazilian fighters came from backgrounds in which they were fighting in No Holds Barred bareknuckle TOURNAMENTS. Wanderlei Silva, for example, came up on Vale Tudo and Muay Thai fights and was putting in work since age 16.

...but yeah, this is one of the rare incidents in which an average joe got the best of a pro fighter(although I'm sure things would've ended way different if the fight wasn't broken up). One of the absolute times I remember a pro fighter getting that work from a joe was Benji Radach getting KTFO and his jaw broken by some random dude in a grudge match over a bytch
