The next generation of kids who are gonna start wrestling bears in the mountains from a young age. Khabib changed the game

yeah, Dagestan is a unique place, Wrestling/Sambo is the number 1 sport there by far, so almost ALL the kids start training early with dreams of being champions, and its looked at as a way to get rich and make it out... kind of how the NBA/NFL is for young brehs in the states.

I also personally think the islamic tradition there helps with the laser focus on the kids there when it comes to discipline in the sport.

That's da thing this whole Abu Dhabi fighting daytime is a bribe. They bribed ufc to buy part n pick n choose wha fights there. Dana did interview yrs ago n sd they asked for that khabib fight in Abu Dhabi and wanted in their time zone. N Dana sd ppv money they wld lose wld be huge. N da oil guys paid em. Sd thenumber they giving for that khabib fight out does ne ppv numbers.

why would fukkin Dubai schedule an event that doesnt suite them? fukk America, you go there and fight in their time zone, do concerts in their time zone, Plus they made sure the UFC didint lose out ie PPV money.

That stoppage in the Belal/Brady fight seemed early to me. Brady was hurt, but he was still defending himself and it was only 20 seconds left

Mentally I think something was off about Charles. Hope he gets a title shot soon. Not calling for an instant rematch, but one more win.

He was there with almost 100 guys.

Just feel like he felt mentally he wasn’t prepped. Could be the location or maybe something happened outside of the cage. Oliveria wasn’t fighting like his usual killer self. Not to take away from Islams performance but I don’t think we got that killer we’ve been seeing in past fights. Who knows, I think it’s far from over for Chucky Olives

How bout O Malley? Stood toe to toe with Yan who was a very dominant champion. Sorry if Im wrong but O’Malley was ranked 15th fight number 1? That’s insane, whether you agree with the decision or not Sean was piecing up Petr on the feet.

I will say he needs to let someone else take care of Aljo because Sterling will take his back and make him tap.

Speaking of Sterling, his girl . He made short work of TJ Dillabytch. Crazy cause it’s O’Malley vs Vera right now for the number one contender. Aljo beats them both.

Last I think Dariush presents some very interesting problems for Islam. He’s not a bjj specialist but we saw his counter wrestling is nuts. Wish he wasn’t so stiff but one of those slow lumbering overhand lands on Islam he might be taking another nap

Would rather have him fight Kattar(if he wins) or someone like Ricky Simon and go from there

Theres a lot of ways to get out of an arm triangle. At the time Charles was rocked and like you said this is the first time in a long time someone followed him to the floor.

Even in the striking though he stood his ground with way better strikers than Islam. This fight it’s like he held back. I don’t think I saw him throw many elbows.

If O Malley wants the title he’s going to have to become a grappling expert. Aljo is not going to lose to Chito so O Malley is next. Petr exposed a huge whole in Sean’s game
