Some VERY close fights - I had:

2-1 Khamzat
3-2 Aljo

"Khamzat aura is shattered" :mjlol: dude is 27 and just walked down a #2 - 35 year old Gilbert Burns :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Anyone who knows/watches/understands MMA knows this dude is the future.

nothing is “shattered” but that whole “I kill everybody” brovado (yes, it’s spelt like that for a reason lol) is gone. He outlasted Burns @ a young age, good for him. But that CRAZY hype train is not running as fluid as it was b4 tonight. I just hope it stops the “he could beat Usman/Izzy/etc….nonsense”. Too early for all that bullish!t

Expecting to see consecutive dominant victories in the welterweight division, especially when you finally take on the #2 ranked guy :mjlol:

more or less what i expected from Khamzat.

He lost? 3 judges said he won.

Dudes talking shyt on Khamzat despite him taking a huge ass leap to fight the 2nd best dude in the division at 26 years old with no experience in deep fights and.....winning. :jawalrus:
You see it too breh

11-0 :umad:

This experience was probably way better for him than another first round finish would have been. He is bigger and stronger than Colby and a better wrestler and wont have to worry about submissions which is why he was hesitant to take Burns down, definitely have him winning that fight. But he most likely loses to Izzy though after seeing this fight

Exactly, there’s levels to this sh!t. Thinkin he’s gonna roll thru the top 5 like he did to 10-20 ranked fighters is ridiculous

As much as Max got touched up by Yair in his last fight I think Volk takes it again for the 3-0 sweep

We will see will be a battle man. Max has to get active early can’t give up the early rounds and stay consistent to win

Unfortunately there is NOBODY else in that division besides MaX for Volk to fight (again)….there’s no new blood in their division. It’s those 2, then everyone else. Stale division bc of the greatness of the 2 top cats, simple as that
Yair basically seemed on par with Holloway to me during their fight. I didn't see any significant gap at all
Also Arnold Allen is 9-0 in UFC and ready for a step up
Sodiq Yusiff only loss in UFC is to Allen in a very close fight
Giga is rising up the ranks even if he took an L to Kattar
If Zabit can ever get in the damn cage again that's another one
There are other guys out there just cause UFC isn't shoving them down peoples throats like Chimaev doesn't mean there isn't new blood

Felt bad for Zombie but he looked completely amateurish against Volk. Should've gambled and let his hands go in Rd 1

Aljo won it fair and square. But Yan is a beast. Gets stronger as the fight progresses.

And Khamzat is the real deal. Even if you felt he lost no one is taking all those lunches and stuffing his takedowns on a consistent basis. If Khamzat beats Colby then Usman is next and that's a meteoric rise .

Khamzat isnt beating Colby or Usman

Definitely not usman he will box his head off I think he needs to get his striking down. He’s a big a welterweight but doesn’t have the striking like usman man. I mean burns caught usman and chimaev but just didn’t have the pedigree to finish. Colby the gas tank and the consistent attack will run slow him down.

Khamzat is going to get brutally ko'd by a real striker. The way he throws single punches and his arms drop hes going to get the counter of a lifetime. It's wild if they let him bypass Leon Edwards.
