This is what I noticed this in the first fight

Aljos reach and ugly and awkward boxing gives Yan fits on his reads I think. Yan is a technical fighter, he wants to walk you down look for holes. When he has trouble finding the openings cuz Aljo used his reach and front kick plus the wrestling threat, it really threw Yan off I think
Yan threw himself off trying to swing for the fences, fighting angry as shyt lol

i'd like to see the run back but i doubt it happens for a minute

I had Aljamain winning this, even after that subpar 5th round.

Joe Rogan and the commentary made that fight seem way closer than it was. Yan was nullified the whole match but Joe would always pop up with 'good move by Yan' :beli:

Yan made some really great adjustments in round 4 & 5 but too little too late

I honestly don't see why people were saying round 1 was close. Aljo outstruck him very clearly. Moving forward and eating strikes is not winning

Yan really has never ever looked comfortable striking with Aljo. He made his moments in both fights by winning scrambles. I think Aljo's style is all wrong for him baby

Too many people thought he was gonna dog walk Aljio so they over estimated Yans aggression. He did this to himself, all the anger lead him to act out of character
