Costa's last three fights were a decision over Yoel, a knockout of a chinny Uriah Hall and a knockout over a blown up WW in Hendricks. He hasn't seen a fighter like Izzy. Adesanya has shown his mettle in the fight with Gastelum, I don't think Costa is a better striker than Kelvin.

The PRIDE gloves were better designed, I don't think they ever had any eye pokes. Those gloves prevented you from extending your fingers in such a manner where you couldn't eye poke.

All they have to do is use PRIDE style gloves, but for whatever reason the UFC has been resistant to making the change. It’s going to take somebody losing an eye before they make a switch.
