Please stop with this finish shyt. Plenty of fighters have lost going to the judges

then what are you crying about lmao

You gotta live with the judges decisions, every tough fight jones will ever have you will say he lost just because you want him to lose lmao, that's why someone like you would never be a judge

I don't see how Jon has regressed like people have said. Fighting the Brandon Vera's of the world, yeah, he can do spinning backfists and all that other video game fighting move shyt. As he gets older, he's stretching out his career by fighting more methodical, thus he takes less risks in a fight. He's no longer the Michael Jordan that was high flying against Lakers in his first NBA Finals. He's the Michael Jordan that retooled his game with the mid-range fadeaway against the Utah Jazz in the Finals. Jon is still scoring his 30 a game and the result is the same but his output is different.
His takedown entries and wrestling overall have certainly regressed, it wasn't just this fight but the Anthony Smith and Santos fights as well. His boxing has never been anything to write home about and won't get any better with Jackson-Wink

The controversial decision is going to overshadow the fact that Jones had another boring point fighting performance. Kinda hard to believe from the guy who had an incredible finishing streak against top competition during his initial run to the title

Jones is past his prime. He's not washed up, but he's clearly no longer the dominant force he used to be.

Jones has either regressed or he's not taking these dudes serious anymore because he doesn't look the same at all. Santos was fukking Jones leg up and probably would have won the fight if he didn't have that freak injury. Reyes just didn't attack his leg enough and got gassed because he's never fought that long before. If Santos gets a rematch I think he will beat Jones

I GAVE JONES THE 2ND RD...

REYES CAME OUT WITH A FLURRY
AT THE START OF THE RD
BUT JONES CONTROLLED THE
REST OF THE RD UNTIL REYES
LANDED A FEW SHOTS IN THE LAST 30.

WELP...

2 JUDGES GAVE RD 2 TO JONES...

NOT SURE WHAT YALL WERE WATCHING
OR WHY YALL THOUGHT RD 3
WAS THE TOSS UP RD.

49-46 is pure insanity. shyt, overall, props to reyes though regardless of the scorecard.

i thought reyes had 1-2 good rounds in him and he'd be food. just getting picked apart by jones.

a 12-0 guy going against the goat and making it that close. :whew:

i didn't think he had it in him. dude is a beast.

I disagree. He's the same Jones, it's just that the rest of the division has caught up to him. When he was younger he was ahead of his time. Now he's fighting guys who are his size and and equally as skilled.

Styles make fights, everyone knows boxing is jon jones' weakness, he has terrible boxing, and should've been working with a real boxing trainer ever since he got pieced up by gus in the first fight

I dont mind bones winning a close one but that 49-46 is bs

that had to be the judge who Rogan was saying wasn't even watching the fight (during the ESPN prelims)

it was a flip of the coin as to who won, likely Reyes should have won based on stats, but one thing is for sure ... that 49-46 scorecard is a disgrace to the sport.
