I wouldnt be surprised if Max was caught on the same shyt Lance Armstrong was on, EPO.

I'm snitching. Something fishy was afoot.
Wtf are you talking about? Dudes had cardio like that his whole career. If he was doing that shyt would’ve been caught by now. Plus unlike dillashaws fakkit ass. Max is a warrior and has respect for the game.

Meh, this is some hindsight is 20/20 stuff, everyone has been expecting Max to move up soon considering the toll weight cuts have had on him and the fact that he's a big 145lber. We know Max isn't a heavy hitter but I don't think anyone was expecting the power disparity to be that pronounced going into the fight. Max being so damn hittable is an issue that he needs to address.
Max loves to stand and bang sometimes you n warrior fashion. He knows his chin and wants to put on for the crowd. But yeah max and Israel are in the same boat not one punch ko guys. Volume punchers with crisp accuracy. I do think if max knew he was going to stay at 155 he would’ve gotten even bigger

I think Poirier can beat Khabib honestly, if he can stuff a takedown or two he'll get enough time on the feet to take him apart, the kind of output he had in that first round against Max is exactly what I think would take Khabib out. Poirier was very precise in the first two rounds and almost all his shots had power behind them.
Khabib has decent enough head movement but Poirier likes to throw hooks and times his shots really well, he would hurt Khabib bad that way.

Or Khabib gets a takedown at the beginning of every round and just beats on him for 5 rounds:lolbron:

I want to see Poirier beat conor's ass though, the way he fought against Khabib he gets slumped easily, he was slow and his reflexes were just not there compared to his previous fights

No let Conor fight max and Dustin take on khabib. That’s my dream scenario. I think it’s going to be Frankie vs max though. They’ve never fought and max has washed every other 145er.

Also idk Dustin couldn’t knock max out. Granted max has one of the best chins and heart. Would be crazy to see how khabib responds if he gets his head actually rattled

Yeah Max is probably going back down to Featherweight, he would probably be a top 10 fighter in lightweight everyone will walk through his pinches there. He's going to wash Edgar though for sure.

Khabib got touched by Johnson if I remember correctly and I think Poirier has more power behind his punches than he does
hes also a lot more compact in his combinations and has cleaner boxing than Johnson who stays very long and throws loopy punches that leave takedown windows for khabib

I think if max committed to 155 he would bulk up and have more power. Not One punch knockout power but enough where when he did stun Dustin it would have opened up a tko by strikes or something. Cause he did get him acouple times especially against the fence and some of those crosses.

Also it was close enough where if max did a little more in the 5th it could’ve have been his fight . I think he would beat most of the top 10 guys.

Still don't understand why Gastelum went for the take down in the 4th when Izzy was really wobbled. Dude would have been champ if he had a clearer mind at that moment. Also, that high kick by Gastelum looked super soft, I first thought Stylebender was faking when his legs started giving up, so weird.

Yeah I was shocked he shot for a takedown. And I don't even think Gastelum knew he hurt him with that kick at first

Just bad fight IQ but it happens at moments like that sometimes. Probably just guessing but he was a lil bit tired and wanted to GnP and hopefully Izzy makes a mistake so he could get a choke
