Can't agree there. I think either winner of the FN would have done enough to be in the picture.

It has to be a Hawaii card IMO, and I don't know what's up on the schedule in ~7 months

Cub already got destroyed badly by Max. And had a competitive fight with Connor bag man. Ortega yea I guess but dude has been getting by with complete fluke wins. Max would outclass him badly in all aspects outside grappling

:dahell: he was demanding an immediate rematch :dahell:

Poor wording on my part, but your point is made.......but that’s exactly why I said if it was more of the UFC blocking the fight than Aldo, then HE should’ve made a BIGGER deal about it & put it out there that UFC was protecting their lil golden boy that hasn’t defended a fckin belt yet :pacspit: McG.

And don’t gimmie no shyt that Aldo couldn’t do anymore to get a rematch going, ANYTHING he says in the media after that knockout (which was in mainstream media!!!) blows up bc it has Connors name attached to it.......so then the pressure goes to Connor/UFC to give him that rematch ASAP.

I honestly just think it rattled him too much MENTALLY for quite a while :manny: for him to make TOO much noise bout the rematch, which is not a knock on Aldo. That lose was an unprecedented blow on 1 of the greatest careers EVER.....I personally think Aldo being a true/dominant champion for so long he could’ve made bigger waves if he was chomping at the bits to get a go @ McG again, sorry bruh....no offense.

Went something like 1 for 5 (and I might be reaching with that 1 correct pick  lol) during the last UFC.......worst ever for me.
Happy that I almost ran the card tonight

HOLLOWAY is a machine he took Aldo's shot but the Brazilian can't take his

Holloway known for doing that.....not just him, but just gesturing to opponents if u wanna just go punch for punch “Rock ‘em Sock ‘em Robot” style we can do it now lol.......that’s some warrior sh!t from both in the ring. Just stand & throw haymakers back & forth with a fellow savage :blessed:.............those ain’t boxing gloves they throwing freely on those hands in those “standoffs”:obama:

He

He didn't give the fight away. He was tired as shyt and slowing down. Went exactly like the first fight. Also cannot beat Holloway unless he KO's him early. He doesn't have the cardio to last with him

Yea, biggest issue is Aldo simply doesn't have the k.o. power in his punches to affect Holloway, much less k.o. him. He's loading up on all his punches to throw haymakers, but they might as well have been scooby snacks.

i.e. He throws 5, in which he misses 3 and lands 2 but those 2 have zero affect on Max despite all 5 punches being haymakers straight from Aldo's gas tank. It's inevitable that you're going to punch yourself out. I think Aldo realized that from the first fight, which was why he started round 1 so slow and patient, but he eventually got suckered into it.

Or more so, he failed at coming up with a different strategy altogether. Stand up hand strikes/boxing simply was not going to win him the fight. It was either going to be kicks or doing something on the ground.

-glad the mainevent played out the way it did, reminded me of edgar/bj only more decisive. Been saying aldo needs to move up for a while. Nothing left 2 prove
-ngannou's legend grows but we didn't exactly learn anything knew, still have my suspicions hes just heavy hands and nothing else. At HW maybe that's enuff:ld:
Gaethjie/Alveraz wasn't the back and forth I thought it would be, other than the leg kicks (by JG) eddie was basically controlling the fight and never looked in trouble
-Karate cutie:mjcry:dont know why but I just cant support terres, such a boring fighter..
:russell:Fellice herrig and Cejudo
Cowboy/mederois:whew:
lol at an event like that only doing 24 pages, after the year we've had you would think folks would be queuing to eat..
Yea, I noticed Rogan and them been getting a bit trigger happy with these GOAT proclamations.

Them repeated USADA busts had them going from Silva to Jones to now DJ.
You are not wrong about rogan's propensity for hyperboley but in regards to the bit in bold who exactly is the GOAT now?

We've seen Overeem flatlined before but Jesus. .. that was one of the scarier KO's. It was weird seeing Alistair pushed around in the clinch like that

Its hard not to like Ngannou, I don't know and don't really care yet if he's "well rounded"

dude has star written all over him and boy do they need a few of those right now.
