Did that flying knee Romero hit on Weidman remind anyone else of this?

he barely survived that shyt, if he had better defense then he could beat those guys, but

he's not good enough, he needs a size advantage to be dominant and not get hit, woodley would knock him out
Let's not start saying Woodley is anywhere near Nate's level boxing wise, which would be the only reason he'd have to improve his defense to beat Woodley.
His defense is already good, otherwise he'd have went down in the second fight with Nate.

Woodley has the same reach same height as Conor, I just don't see him establishing any kind of control on the feet.

McGregor is my #1 p4p fighter in MMA....
YES....several other MMA fighters could've held 2 titles at once...YES he hasn't defended his FW title....and YES he didn't win a single fight @ 55 in the UFC b/f getting fights with RDA and Eddie.........IT DOESN'T MATTER. He's defeated: Max Holloway(with a torn ACL)...Dustin Poirier...Chad Mendes(possibly while on roids)...Jose Aldo(GOAT FW champion)....Nate Diaz(current #4 lightweight in the world and a successful welterweight) and Eddie Alvarez(Lightweight Champion of the world who was gonna be the fighter of the year, if he won) all over the span of 3 different weight classes....arguably the 3 best weight classes in the sport....his current run is only trumped historically by Silva...who has, at least, 1 top 10 win in 3 different weight classes. This breh is already top 10 all-time. McGregor-Diaz 3 @ the Barclays for the title is MAMMOTH but that's probably too soon to promote. I got Conor favored strongly over Ferg and slightly favored over Khabib on some 55/45% type sh!t.

I actually had WB winning 48-47.....he won 2, 3, and 5 and I didn't give T-Wood any 10-8's for rd1 and rd4. I can live with the draw, though. If they don't wanna give Maia the next title shot, do the rematch when they're both healthy.

KK tried her best but other than the 4th...JJ just controlled all the action...hotshot Andrade to a title shot and give KK fringe top 10 fighters and hope the UFC can get to Poland before 1 of these girls lose.

Is Luke-Jacare called off for good or have they been rescheduled? I feel bad for Jacare but, I think it's Yoel's time...they've already gotten the ball rolling with the Bisping-Yoel interaction...I actually feel lie Yoel only has a slight advantage here. He's older, has worse cardio and almost as chinny. Would love to see him win it, though. Chris needs to take like a year off....not a fan, at all but....he needs like a year off. He's taken 2 life-altering ass whoopings within a 5-month span...not good.

Nate's boxing is severely overrated

Nate doesn't have any leverage behind of his punches which is why he didn't knock Conor out

Nate isn't on woodley's level as a fighter period

Conor doesn't have any defense, he relies on his reach to keep him out of arms way, which is why he kept getting hit by nate

Conor can punch he can't box

he doesn't have good defense so you don't have to be a good boxer to get to him

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
If Khabib does not focus on raw brazillian jiujitsu on its purest form he will get his head buss like he almost did in the first round

I don't remember him almost getting hurt in the first round at all.

I remember him very deliberately keeping his hand up by his face to avoid getting his head busted

and it's still way better than Woodley's.

at jab distance he dodged most of Nate's punches, and I doubt Woodley would have a lot of occasions to be at that distance too long.

he's got good head movemement and footwork, he's in to land and out before counters. Depends what you call defense though, if you consider keeping your hands up and turtling good defense then yeah, he doesn't have good defense. You have to understand defense isn't centered around hands, feet, head and body movement are a very important part of it.

Look at Woodley's face and Nate Daiz face
also conor was out boxed by Nate Diaz, and Nate Diaz has no take downs
which is why he has a terrible record

if the fight goes the ground he could win most fights, but he can never get the fight to the ground himself via take down

Woodley just needs to take conor down once and the fight is over

one is covered in scar tissue, that other one isn't lmao
His head movement is not that good

neither is his foot work

Anderson Silva had the type of defense you are talking about lmao, conor has none of those skills you mentioned

Chad Mendes tagged him with over hand rights, he was a midget though

woodley would KO him

so when is conor gonna actually defend a belt? All this Conor shyt seems so forced even though you gotta give it up to him he has skills. Nate would probably win a 3rd fight
