Conor had some decent lines, but he's the one left that press conference looking flustered and in his feelings.

He's only witty when it comes to rehearsed lines, the second somebody gets to him he loses the schtick. We saw that when Dos Anjos called him out for not knowing the difference between Portuguese & Spanish, and today when Nate threw those accusations at him. Dude's whole aura went out the window.

Nah, for real, I'm all for Diaz winning but he probably done this after seeing the cheque.

Diaz playing no games. He KNOWS the UFC aint trying to lose two PPV main events in a row. UFC paid up. Shyt, probably upped Connor's as well.

Really? Conor often uses counters like a cross block technique, purposely eating a punch just to land his left. That's why he's always marked up/cut under his eye, because he relies on that shyt. One of the big things people criticize him for his his willingness to rely on his chin. Nate isn't a huge power puncher, so I really doubt that some shots from Nate will make Conor go for any sort of takedown. Conor's strength is easily being on his feet as well as his top jiu-jitsu, even though he hasn't been able to show much of that yet.

I just don't see him taking the fight to the floor here, not when he can dart in and out of space at angles, changing range as well as he can.

Nate never had a chance in this fight any explosive fighters hes ever fought (besides Melvin Guillard) hes lost to badly. Now on this short of notice hes really got very little chance. You could see it at the press conference he knows its unlikely hes winning. Hes doing it for the check and i dont blame him.

Do ufc fighters not stay in constant shape though? I see a guy like Floyd who trains year round. Always ready. Always in the gym. Always at fight weight.


Then I hear these dudes getting 1-4 weeks notice and being like, I might not be in shape
