Exactly, they never pushed Anderson or Jones the way they push these white clowns, it just goes to show that the UFC and boxing would be like the WWE if the whites had it their way, blacks would never get any shine same goes for the NFL, NBA and everything else they control on this planet.

Those shots might look nice for the scorecards/audience, but no way it was going to the cards & that's the way those Diaz boys fight......tough as fukk.
Where did I say/imply Nate won the 1st round? Im saying that 1st round played into the usual Diaz gameplan.......Did all those landed shots matter? Nope, bc Diaz lives for getting hit like that.....false sense of security for his opponent & an ego-maniac like Connor kept doing it in the 2nd round bc he thought 1 of those prior/similar shots would have an effect.....Nate knew Connor couldn't knock him out by the 2nd & Connor played right into his hands by getting frustrated at the stand-up battle & TRIED TO BRING A BJJ MASTER TO THE GROUND bc of that frustration..........What are you not getting?

I'm taking nothing away from Connor overall, but that was a blueprint for a Diaz fight/win.
I definitely agree with that assessment. Conner played into diaz strategy. Diaz also has a very strong chin and after the punched buckled connor you could see his confidence drop below 0, he was dazed...

With Tate winning, it actually HELPS the UFC in terms of the next few women's fights.......
  • Rousey gets a shot at Tate (sorry Rousey haters, she has her # so probably subs Miesha.......again)
  • Sets up the big-money Rousey/Holm rematch for the title @ UFC200 (best case scenario for UFC is Holm wins)
  • THAT sets up the Holm/Tate rematch for the belt
Obviously this is overlooking any other notable female contenders, but those 3 have the big $$$$ storylines/rivalries built in Dana loves to push/exploit......

Not saying that's how it should/will go down, but just my quick thoughts on the top of that division in the next few months :ohhh:
That'll be great but I don't see it playing out like that. Rousey is NOT gonna get another shot at meisha before holm. If anything it will be an immediate rematch with tate/holm either before or at ufc 200, remember that's just FOUR months away. I think for right now rousey is out of the picture, filming movies and things of that nature.

Even if you did holm/tate II in may, you can't turn around and ask either one to fight again in july against rousey, that will NOT go down even if it sounds great. Look for holm/tate II @ UFC 200.

The laziest analysis I have read :scust:

Ok, I was typing on my phone, but whatever you say:

Holm was doing fine with striking, but unfortunately veered away from her gameplan and played the grapple game with Tate and lost. If she circled and cut the ring off, she wouldn't have been in the position for getting taken down in such a lazy manner towards the end of the fight. Conditioning wasn't the issue with Holm, it was her end game that failed her.

With McGregor vs Diaz, Diaz had a strong chin and a resolve that he hadn't encountered before. McGregor was bold dropping his hands and showboating imo which cost him dearly as Diaz regained his composure to took it to the end. To be fair, I'd thought McGregor had it when Diaz got his eye busted open and would be subsequently ko'd, not the case. McGregor said it himself, "Diaz was more efficient" meaning he didn't burn his energy which McGregor did with exhaustive and esoteric high kicks and such.

Great points on the woman's picture.....can't even believe that's only 4 months away!!!! These fights come so fast now, great for us but crazy on the fighters minds/bodies....
I was just saying it was the ideal scenario (time-wise & result-wise) for Dana & them if they wanted to go the "revenge" route didn't mean it was the most logical one.
