Am I the only one that thinks that GSP just ain't the same since that 18-month lay off from that ACL injury? I don't know, he just doesn't seem like the same GSP. His striking seems to be nowhere it was before and looks a bit sloppy too now the past 2 fights, it used to look crisp as fukk and perfect. Cuhz right now, GPS would get demolished by Anderson, EASILY. In 2009 or 2010, I would have said GSP would have a great chance of beating Anderson, but right now hell no. Even his wrestling doesn't seem as explosive either. But, :yeshrug: he got the W anyways and nobody at 170 can see him or beat him at the moment. He doesn't seem that explosive anymore, I know ACL surgery is a bytch, but he doesn't seem like the same GSP anymore imo.
I see it too something is off since that surgery he was looking at the clock all night, and looked tired at times. Hopefully he can address it before fighting Hendricks or it could be a bad night for him.

Nope, I saw it in the second half of that Condit fight. He'd have pulped Diaz a couple of years ago, but he actually looked a bit worse cardio wise here than during UFC 154.

Hendricks STILL isn't beating him, but it is something to watch.

Naw. Hendricks has questionable cardio also.

I give GSP the benefit of the doubt, he was off for 18 months and was rusty, so I thought it was a rarity when he got tired. But, in this fight, he seemed smaller than ever before it seems, nowhere near as big as before. And his striking defense is nowhere near where it was. Diaz I think did a nice job on the feet, especially in the 3rd round. But, if you can't neutralize his takedown D like Anderson, you aren't stopping GSP at 170. He seemed real tired during the middle of the 3rd round. It seems like he lost part of his explosiveness and speed, so injuries plus all the fights he has might be taking a toll on his body now. But, nobody at 170 is beating GSP. Unless Demian Maia somehow acquires K-1 level striking and World Class boxing, nobody is beating GSP at 170. :heh:
