Financial stability will beat out creative innovation every time. At best, you gotta find a way to marry the two together in whatever you serving. Why ya going so hard at Ubisoft isn't their fault gamers failed to support a great Metroidvania game; at the end of the day, this game did not make them money despite being a great game, and gamers spoke with their wallets and did not support it sufficiently for it to continue to be supported.
