Seriously, has anyone ever heard of a public or private institution putting up money for retiree/pension benefits 75 years into the future???? really?? :what:

I've been following this story for a long ass time. For over a year now. Each source I read says that they're literally the only institution, government or not, required to do so. Required, not even an option. It's crazy shyt once you delve into it. The USPS has been trying to get out from under Congress for a long ass time now.

Haha, that's not the problem. You wouldn't even find resistance from the USPS if you suggested that. They want to shut the shyt down as much as everyone else.

I'm a bit foggy right now but I think the USPS was one of the brightest pinacles of the governments ability to create jobs after the depression. Gutting it or doing away with it would be traumatic in the eyes of the government and the public (if they weren't uneducated)...

Yeah, not many people would care until they're paying UPS prices to send their grandmoms a birthday package.
