As a former Soldier, idk how much the military is involved, but all I used to see was fields of opium and marijuana. Them shyts aint growing for no reason. Them Afghan Locals/Police/Army stayed high. Glossy ass red eyes. Catch them smoking on the FOBs and shyt all the time. Trying to offer it to Soldiers to get them caught up. It's crazy cuz so much money has to be made off the drug supply out there, but literally none of it goes back into AFG. Good Lawd, I'm thankful to be done with those days.

The two Opium wars against China was fought over the drug trade, which China was dependent on. Afghanistan borders china, I'm pretty sure it was battle for that land if I recall. This is nothing new

But strategically Afghanistan is situated "ontop" of gas pipelines coming from the Caspian Sea, also the natural resources Lithium, Gold, Lead etc. And the fact its a nice spot for military bases because you're surrounding Iran.

from what i've read about afghanistan they've been doing research before the invasion and found out they have some resources over there and found a real reason go move in with the war on terrorism crap.
eating off opium i take it is just collateral damage. it's the oil and gas companies that want to setup shop there.


cacs/"corporations" come to your land and do some land surveys and go back home. 10 yrs later they'll return with weapons to kill you for your land.
