I'm confused.What's the point of getting drugs from Mexico causing a huge war down there when America's military is trafficking drugs out of Afghanistan.

Theres two sides to this

Cause when the Taliban was in charge of A-stan, they SHUT DOWN all drug production, so it stands to reason that they would be SOME resurgence of drugs in the area when the Taliban ain't around...

Its just harder to prove that soldiers are taking part in it.

The Russians know this is happening, because a lot of that afghani heroin is making it into Russia. Part of the reason it's important to american policy.

Old news tbh. I thought this was common knowledge. It's not right, but at the same time they CANT burn those poppy fields. It's the only income for like 80% of the people in the rural areas. The U.S military actively turns a blind eye to it, I don't think they actively sell tho. But I'm sure you have some soldiers that .....
