Yeah breh politics dont matter, that's why people worked themselves out of slavery and jim crow. Who is in charge of a nation doesn't matter more than personal responsibility.

Breh politics might be too complex for you. You probably dont even know what the word geopolitics means

You tried your best, that's all that matters. You have no knowledge of history
Slavery ended because the Industrial Revolution took the reigns of unskilled underpaid labor which made Slavery economically outdated and expensive

I bet your goofy self thought Lincoln ended slavery "because of the goodness of his heart"

1. Economics
2. Politics

Economics will ALWAYS come first

Breh slavery still exists and we live way past the industrial revolution. I bet you think the civil war was for states rights.

Do you think slavery is not about economics?

Its such a hilarious statement because if it’s purely an economical argument why did we have a civil war over slavery?

Your reading comprehension is lacking

My post you just quoted was explaining that SLAVERY WAS ABOUT ECONOMICS

It did not end because of Political leniency and "justice". It ended because there was a new medium to create a larger underpaid labor force that included all races, which was manufacturing

Politics were never involved in ending slavery. It was an after the fact event. The same Politics ya'll worship was the same Politics that justified Slavery for Black people

No body said it was about justice but you. Breh its economics is not some invisible hand god like libertarians want you to think, economics has very much to do with who is in power and how the power is used. All economics is political. There is a term you may want to look up it's called socioeconomics.

You probably dont realize that BLM is an economic protest as well. You have fell into CAC definitions where anything that is not abaout a white man doing white stuff is "political"

You're moving the goalposts, and I'm loving it. You are arguing points that I never made, because you seem more comfortable in that space. Its an embarrassing debating tactic

My original post

Religious people think praying will get them out of oppression
Political people think voting will get them out of oppression

Completely disregarding personal responsibility and economic/financial education

Seems about equal to me :ehh:

Why do you keep sidestepping Economics/Financial Education on a PERSONAL level? Why are you sidestepping pooling money together to make change without the help of Politicians?

Without Economic power and Financial Education in Black community, our Political power means absolutely NOTHING. Deal with it

Brick and mortar businesses have been failing for a while now.

And the church as it’s currently constructed is a brick and mortar business.

Because focusing on personal shyt is stupid when you dont understand the overarching issues. I said to look up socioeconomics for a reason and you probably need to look up macroeconomics as well as because we all are working within a framework. Macroeconomics is a much bigger deal than microeconomics, and can explain microeconomics better when you understand the framework better. You are trying to solve a small piece of the puzzle but ignoring the whole picture
