u cant honestly say Illmatic is a better album than the Chronic

2nd half of the chronic is wack. Yeah i said it. Dre stopped rapping half way through and finished it off with one great track at the end.

But anywho, these are my top 2 favorite albums of all time. I don't have a problem with flip-flopping them

thats a matter of opinion, for the official record though Illmatic is a better album sonically and lyrically than the chronic, think of all the sayings that come from Illmatic, think of all the qoutables, the hooks, the classic beats/style that were emulated for years and years to come and it was just nas for most of it and az for one verse, too many nikkas on 'the chronic' Illmatic is just a better album

Im a NaS stan but lets be real, the production on IWW was weak for the most part. Wackmasters production.
