Simply breathing intimidates them. You don't oppress someone you don't feel intimidated or threatened by. They are doing it because they have laws and a system in place that protects them from being held accountable.

The Black Panthers weren't powerful simply because they wielded guns. They were powerful because of the confidence, intelligence, organization and were well within the law with their movement. We are powerful simply because we are Black.

I do think we need organizations like the Black Panthers to combat police brutality head on.
