I hear, but if (IF) the story checks out, then i can't blame the cops for shooting 'em. This ain't Red Dead Redemption. You have less than have a second to react to getting heat getting pulled on. I've asked this question to a cop before, apparently, their excuse is, if they try to shoot at a limb like an arm or leg, they have a significant chance of missing, and it "puts them at risk" of the attacking person.


Because that has always been my gripe, why can't you educate these officers to non-lethally subdue an American Citizen who is only causing a minor disturbance.

No. A white person with a gun is rarely seen as a threat. The same circumstances dont apply to minority youth. If you were to see two or three white children running and chasing with a gun, one would assume they are playing cops and robbers or cowboys and indians. you see the same thing with a minority even amongst minorities it is assumed that one robbed another or they are dealing drugs or in a gang.

As a minority if you simply go jogging or walk down a street in a neighborhood youve never been to people will call the police to report a suspicious person. Might even be bold enough to question you directly "Where are you coming from? Where are you going? Why are you here?"


The likelihood that someone will notify the police is probably quadruple if your a minority.

The reality is a 9mm bullet isn't that large, you can take one and keep going. it might get caught it meat, or pass through, could even strike bone. Its not a caliber of weapon thats going to blow your leg off or hand/arm off.

guns can be frightening but the only way to understand them is to obtain experience with them. especially understanding the calibers. .380, .45, 9 mm, 22..

all of them are loud and go bang, but some might literally blow your head or a limb off while others will poke a hole in you and burn you.

I can be level headed on this one...but the no body cam...all they have is the police's word and cops are known to lie. It seems like American police are trigger happy when it comes to black suspects.
