Tyler needs to step back. He can’t do it all

Only Pharrell, Kanye and Andre 3000 could get away with that weird singing

Tyler tried to make his NERD, Love Below, 808s but it’s just a forced mash up off all his influences without much direction or soul

Not saying it doesn’t have potential and some good moments but I think him doing everything (mainly singing) and being THE guy creatively makes the album suffer

He should do a collab album or something with nerd, frank ocean or the internet if he wants to be non hip hop and experimental

His production with asap Rocky singing would be fire. Rocky knows his range and his been in a perfect pocket with his singing and songwriting since Alla.

Tyler is such a multidisciplinary artist, too, that him fukking with Rocky on some pseudo-tame impala/psychedelic rock/rap would make waves.




The more they keep pushing back whatever they're working on, it's just gonna become more and more likely that Rocky is gonna find a few producers or himself to push that sound forward.

I'm telling yall, that sound is so ahead of it's time right now. It's sonically and structurally tight. These two combining on songwriting and experimenting would be an insane duo

Am I the only one who interpreted the album as Tyler dating a bisexual white boy, who left him for a girl, and now he’s heartbroken? Then the last few tracks are him trying to get over it? The album is solid btw, but I think flower boy is better

No a lot of people have came up with this theory. Sonically he’s getting better with each album. I just cant vibe with his subject matter.

It has its moments and thankfully it doesn't really sound like anything else. I personally don't like when rappers make the same album over and over or don't experiment.

It does KINDA sound like an unpolished NERD album but at the same time it doesn't at all. Tyler's words/lyrics always seem to have more depth to them.
