To be honest IGOR really shouldn't be on the list it's not even a rap album.
after three full listens through... this is Tyler evolving his NERD love/admiration/reverence/obsession into a full sound that is Tyler’s, and Tyler’s alone. I can hear all his influences during different pockets, I can even hear some of his earlier work like VCR; but unlike a lot of his earlier work, admiration doesn’t bleed into imitation.
Sonically, this album is on some other other other shyt. I know some are complaining about the lack of raps... but I honestly can’t remember a single moment where I cared (and that’s not a shot; to each his own!). I just wanted to hear more.
Tyler knocked this shyt out of the park, bat-flipped, then hit the Prince Fielder celebration at home plate...
He better get a Grammy nod for this.

I'm a Tyler fan but I haven't and don't see myself going out of my way to check for this. Maybe on a random but idk maybe I grew out of dude music

He’s no Andre 3000/Pharrell/Kanye
He can’t get away with a experimental singing album
He can’t sing AT ALL. He’s carried by all his background singers on the good songs
Some of the production is good but even then it’s sloppy and all over the place
I’d rather go listen to Jaden Smith who’s making nice experimental music while still rapping and staying hip hop

Tyler needs to step back. He can’t do it all
Only Pharrell, Kanye and Andre 3000 could get away with that weird singing
Tyler tried to make his NERD, Love Below, 808s but it’s just a forced mash up off all his influences without much direction or soul
Not saying it doesn’t have potential and some good moments but I think him doing everything (mainly singing) and being THE guy creatively makes the album suffer
He should do a collab album or something with nerd, frank ocean or the internet if he wants to be non hip hop and experimental
