Considering Tyler's career started off with shock raps (R@pe, misogyny, being immature) add in the fact Tyler's music doesn't get played on the radio neither BET or MTV. Is crazy the levels that Tyler's career has reached, I always thought dude would just be a mid-tier rapper (popularity wise)

Tyler is an a-list rapper without getting a list co-signs or a list treatment. It's an enigma.

Edit: I really thought Tyler's career would pan out the same way Earl Sweatshirts career is panning out.

I think once IGOR hit and he won a Grammy that catapulted him to a list status.

I just hope now that he's reached this new status of fame it doesn't force him to change his artistic integrity, like Kanye did.

So after a few listens i here’s my take:

1. Yeezy I mean Kanye em Tyler is rapping good on this

2. Seems like he took Donda concept and ran with it

3. Beats are all fire

4. Still seems like I can vaguely sense the song Tyler referenced or straight up copied on most songs

5. “darlin, I” is like the signature Tyler baby voice R&B go to track he’s been recreating for like the past 4 albums but it never gets old so….. let him cook I guess

6. That sticky song is a manufactured safe single/hit. It’s not my style but can’t hate when the video drops it’ll probably go viral

7. Best song is I killed you (who produced this ) and on Donald Grover feature takes it to another level



8. Mask off is some type of Nas lost tapes story telling

9. Tomorrow is like his Dev Hynes impersonation. Kinda falls flat



10. Thought I was dead is the textbook horned song banger. He got a million songs like this

11. Like him is TRASH. Singing Tyler will NEVER work. He trying his best to channel young MJ

12. Overall Good album. He basically cemented his status. Not sure how he can fall off now.

I guess I need to get tickets for his tour. FLOOR LEVEL ONLY PRICES
