I'm glad Earl isn't on this. Dude can't stay on beat for shyt these days.

Lol Tyler and Earl haven't been on either on each others shyt since 2013. Earl has been seriously rapping since then without Tyler involvement. They are on two different paths musically and there is little chance of them collabing anytime soon.

Looks that way. Would have upped the content on this something serious. Oh well. There's a few tracks I'll come back to, but this is too light for my tastes.

I'm really trying be objective...

In the 90s it would be a solid album. In 2021 it's an exceptional album due to mixing, mastering, sequence, etc. The rhymes are sufficient...not spectacular.

There's no HIT on the album. When I say hit, I mean a song that everyone of our subcultures will bump. Nothing that the ignorant street nikkas in the South will be in their wretched traphouses bumping.

It's a good backpack album. And I like backpack music, though it doesn't stand a chance against today's trap/hustle/swag music...

PAUSE

As I'm typing this I'm listening. Yall let that homo ass line on Wilshire slide huh? That "rather man or woman I've had em" huh...

AOTY easily

Tyler been on a nice run. Cut out the troll shyt for the most part and lowkey he might be the best producer out....his shyt has layers

I will say prefer the more lush, r&b esque material over the more aggressive hiphop songs

Might be a hot take, but he basically the new Kanye without all the fukkery. He picked up the baton from MBDTF era Ye and has ran with it....so much so that dude can just retire from music, he lost his touch and it ain't coming back. Tyler got this, just concentrate on other shyt

none of his albums has a hit. The closest was maybe Earfquake or See you Again. He either hasn’t mastered that or doesn’t care to
