My thinking is basically being a net neutral coach aint that hard. Try and make sure you have one guy on the floor who the same height as each guy on the other side. Roll a six sided dice and run one of 6 pin down screen option plays out of a timeout.

If you do that you not gonna get Al Horford plus a bunch of rookies to the Conf Championship but youre also not gonna actively lose games for your team. These are professionals getting coached, you might need Pop or Phil to explain the decision making process on a complex motion offense but besides that dudes know how to run the PnR.

Its when coaches start buying into their own hype and believing they have some philosophy or formula that they start making smartdumb choices like that.
