DC was not dominated by Jones, what fukkin fight did some of y'all watch? It was competitive for the most part :mindblown:
being competitive and being dominated are 2 totally different things

did DC get dominated? no

was the fight competitive? no

DC was basically in defensive mode the whole fight cause he knew offensively he couldnt do anything with Jones

i dont see anything changing in a rematch

What's up with all this revisionist history? Cormier definitely gave Jon Jones a solid fight.

Jones v Cormier II is the only competitive fight that you can make in this division involving either of those fighters.

It was competitive for 3 rounds and after that Jones ran away with it, but it wasn't a domination. Jones/Shogun was a domination. Jones/DC was a back and forth fight for 3 rounds.

@THEREALBRAND you good breh? I know Vitor is your favourite athlete.

I'm heartbroken by the loss, but I have a little bit of solace in knowing that he went out on his shield and actually came to fight. It really sucks though, because I actually thought he was going to finish Weidman after he rocked him.

I mean :manny: People will put an asterisk on this because we know Jones is still the champ no matter what. He could have at least acknowledged Rumble tho. Pretty dikk headed move by him. I just noticed that there are some unlikable champions on the roster right now. DC, Weidman, Dillashaw all just have a$$hole personalities

these p*ssy-ass critiques kill me. "ohhhh they're so unlikable! they're such a$$holes!" gimme a break man. they're fukking professional cage fighters...why would anyone expect (or demand in your case) some kind of special decorum in order to be respectable? beyond that, you only "know" those guys through post-fight interviews, promos and soundbytes and shyt.

this is same thing for all athletes. i've never understood why fans get so attached, either positively or negatively, to their 'personalities'. what difference does it make? do you know them? are you hanging out with them? they're fighters...who cares?

if i have to have dinner with some guy i think is an a$$hole, then sure, it matters. but if he's just some guy fighting for my entertainment on my tv screen...who gives a shyt about his personality?

Rumble felt Overeem/BJ Penn front runner ish tonight. Hopefully that's not the truth but it looked that way. Like if he doesn't smoke you early he'll go :dwillhuh: then break.

Ehh, i think it's just more a function of having a 1 round gas tank, no matter what weight class he's at
