Why was there a women’s only league until this week?
Two men will face each other for a WOMEN'S championship title at the Ultimate Pool Women's Pro Series Event 2 tonight in Wigan, UK.

Don't bother, his entire schtick is to ask you questions ad nauseam until he can trap you into a 'gotcha' and then argue from there.
If they don't have any competitive advantage over them, i don't see why shouldn't be allowed to.
I'm interested in fairness, sometimes gender discrimination contributes to fairness. If it doesn't then i am against gender discrimination for the sake of discrimination.

we wouldn't have a problem if the roles were reversed. If some women tried to join a mens league they would be allowed to. I had girls on my highschool football, I didn't complain because they had no advantages over me

The real answer is to get more women into these kinds of sports.
Women's leagues attract women who would normally be hesitant about entering a male dominated arena. Women who master these leagues usually go on to compete in mixed leagues with men.
Same with things like chess.
Finally someone actually answers the question. I was legit curious why this is needed. That makes sense. thanks
