Why would I care this isn't even happening in the US.
Instead of asking why there are men in a women’s category you’re debating the legitimacy of women’s sports.

Yes there are slight physical advantages in pool. Reach power/strength also have to consider hand size.
Janette Lee was never the best overall Pool player in the world. Not when you had Earl Strickland Efran Reyes Johnny Archer all in their primes. That was all branding/PR but she was very good tho. Nor is she better than the Duchess of Doom Allison Fisher.
Pool is one of the few sports where Women can beat Men on a fairly consistent basis in 9 ball. But then again there are so many different variants of Pool you have 7 ball 8 ball 9 ball 10 ball.

No wonder women have been erased
because there is no such thing as mens only sports. There aren't no rules against women participating in any "mens" sports. Women only make their own gender specific spinoffs because they generally are unable to compete with men physically.
But that doesn't seem like it should be the case with pool. just wrestling under a certain age boys and girls compete against each because before they get to puberty there is no physical advantage the young boys have over girls. What advantage does a man have against a women in pool? longer arms?
Should these men be competing in women’s sports?
if they have an advantage over women no. Do they?
