Honestly, Lil Baby kinda jumped the shark, not just with the last album, but when the Grammy 50 years of hip-hop performance happened and everyone was hyped and it's a party and then Lil Baby comes on performing Freestyle which otherwise is a fire track, but it slowed everything down. He looked out of place.

Last album was mid and a letdown, but Lil Baby has shown he has it in him to be too dog in the game, lyrically. He doesn’t have the star power nor charisma to solidify it though. I’m not writing him off yet.

I’m actually surprised we’re talking about Lil Baby falling off…his run from 2019-2021 was crazy. Even when I saw him live he was impressive…but It’s Only Me was a very redundant album. He needs to keep evolving and keep the shytty tracks like Heyyy in the vault or promo singles only. Go on a feature run. When he drops another project he needs to switch it up and minimize redundancy.
