Man I hated this white bullshyt. They really forced this Kate-Tyler love connection. And the storm wranglers in general. “Oh they really care”. fukk outta here :camby:. These hick mofos were sending fireworks up tornadoes for YouTube clicks. But “they have heart” :skip::beli:. This man Tyler followed her to her house and it was just played off like it was normal behavior :aicmon:. They didn’t give Javi a fair one

As soon as they pulled the Hillbilly with a heart shyt, I was out.

And then they PLAYED Javi too! Yeeeeea fukk this movie

I'm glad I read the comments on Reddit and not YouTube.

I don't get why people have to deride a movie if it's not an Oscar-worthy classic, as if it can't still be a good movie.

Shyt was good to me. I'd give it a B - but, outside of that, I would never live in Tornado Alley :camby:

I thought her and Javi were gonna get together at one point but, she made better sense with Tyler. Javi shouldn't be simping anyway if she not choosing.

And I understand their viewpoint. While Tyler was having fun, ultimately he was there to do research. Javi was there to see how they could predict tornados hitting the housing developments his boss was building. And his boss was approaching people right after their houses got destroyed by a tornado which is manipulative in some way.

Why they try to make the realtor the bad guy when these people are getting paid.

They make it seem nefarious, but logically... It's the best way to help people. We don't know how much he's profiting off people, because he was already an established realtor.

For all we know, he could be losing money or had some elaborate story behind it all.

IDK breh. Alot of real estate types love to do deals when people are dealing with high-pressure situations because you're more likely to get a sale.

Like the person getting divorced, somebody dying, someone owing alot of debt.

This falls under that same bucket.

On some level it's exploitative. If someone wants to sell their house, they can go find a realty company. They don't need this guy knocking on their half-destroyed house three days afterwards.

It is exploitative as they wouldn't be otherwise if there wasn't a disaster and those people wouldn't say yes to their offers.

They'll rebuild and price out everyone else that chose to stay. It happens all the time.
