If the cliffhanger of the pilot didn't make you immediately want to start the next episode then it's whatever

Im more open minded and patient now

i honestly dont even remember shyt from the 1 episode i saw....literally nothing

a lot of the feeling and style of twin peaks is in the time period it was filmed IMO
the difference in tools used to film it wardrobe actors age yadda yadda yadda

thinking about it now I'm down to see where it goes
I just won't be expecting the same things

it'll be more of a new series flying under a old name
instead of a direct continuation of twin peaks*

that's way more of a stretch
maybe they'll do something completely different

but maybe rehashing the same aesthetic will add to the absurdity

we'll just watch and see*

dont know what soaps you watched but twin peaks looked nothing like dallas, knots landing or dynasty, not in tone not in theme not in colour scheme not in anything.they might have called the show a soap but it was unconventional in every way Season 1 obviously more so than 2..

This sucks. I'm not watching some bammer Lychless version of Twin Peaks though. I don't care if he wrote the episodes, I've always been more a fan of his directing.
Showtime needs to start paying that HBO money if they want to stay in the game.
