Being a smart woman means you're always on guard

I was leaving work, waiting for my train. A man got off a train and asked me which way is so and so exit. I said that way and pointed. Next thing you know he wants to talk. He was drunk/high/had a disability so I could barely understand him. However, I did hear chocolate and pretty. I said no sir I'm married.

He kept mumbling about a phone number and getting closer. I kept saying no sir and moving away. What he didn't notice was I switched my bag from my right hand to my left and put my hand in my pocket. That's where my knife and pepper gel were. Luckily my train came and I skedaddled
Just proves my point…end of the day he did not touch you violently he just pressed on..you removed yourself from the situation..you rejected with respect..he respected the curve..if you called him a broke bum nikka you might have had to use what was in your pocket..and you know this lol

What are we missing? That women can be disrespectful when rejecting men?

By being disrespectful in their rejection, a woman can set a dude off which may, or may not, result in her being harmed? Therefore, they should be nicer when rejecting men?

Is that it?
Yes that’s exactly what we are saying and you knew that from the jump lol

No this is what you are not comprehending. No kind of rejecting deserves this kind of response.

nikkas is only pointing out that violence like this only stems from a disrespectful rejection. Im only speaking from a street POV. Im from nyc. Ive seen this(minus the murder), a million times.

It doesn't because I was assaulted in the post you conveniently ignored when I did the same thing. Just because it doesn't fit your narrative doesn't make it invalid.

Let me break it down for you because there seems to be a disconnect in how men handle even the slightest form of rejection

If you’re thinking it goes from a polite no to straight harassment/violence, usually no. But once the realization sets in that the woman is really not going to relent, no matter his mouth piece, game etc, then the harassment/violence starts

Yes, I’ve rejected men nice and respectfully yet it still ended with them getting physical with me or throwing things at me. No way in hell should a rejection end in physical harm.

Cut it out. Your situation isnt the norm. nikkas get rejected everyday without assaulting women. You’re the one who is trying to change the norm to fit your bullshyt scenario.

“I don’t know where the guy [came] from, but he started asking for her Instagram,” he said. “She refused and he started shouting, raising his voice. So the guy that was working tried to kick the guy out and keep the girls inside.
“He started banging on the window to open the door for him,” Albeher said. “He was saying, ‘I want to get my food,’ and when the worker tried to close the door, he tried to stab the guy. He tried to stab my worker. He immediately lock[ed] the door on him.”
Albeher said the workers kept the twins inside, and that “We thought he left.
“But he waited for them and pulled his knife and stab[bed] the girl.”

One story says he asked for her number and instead she gave him her instagram.

This next story says she denied him her instagram altogether.

Bunch of details missing.
