what about in a house of muslims that dont teach the child jesus is the only way to salvation?

friend
They believe we're worshipping the same God and give respect to Jesus so there is no need to go hard on them friend. The people who really need to be looked out for are godless friends like you. The truly lost.

Jesus
The funniest part is the entire time Jesus was here, he chilled with the folk the church goers hated. They even mocked him for being a friend to publicans and simers.

Let Jesus come back tomorrow and these same Christians would be the first ones to yell crucify him, crucify him.

Jesus gave that work to the religious leaders because they were not understanding the heart of the law. Praying for everyone to hear them. Thing about it was they were some of the wisest elders. The smartest usually are the ones to denounce religion the fastest. The same people Jesus rebuked.

more arrogance parading as religious humility :scusthov:. why dont you come right out with it and tell us everyone who doesnt suck jesus' dikk like you seem to be doing, is going to hell

Just stating a fact. Hindus don't have creation, Greek myth didn't have creation and so on and so on. Not arrogance just honesty.

but they're wrong? just come out with it and say at the end of the day, muslims are ultimately wrong because christians are right
Wrong is determined by who goes to hell and who does not friend. They worship my god and believe in my savior. I think thats nothing for me to be concerned about in comparison to someone like you who shouts obsensities at God. We have to help you see the way to your eternal bliss which you clearly havnt found yet.

Just stating a fact. Hindus don't have creation, Greek myth didn't have creation and so on and so on. Not arrogance just honesty.
According to Western scholars, the religious tradition that we know as Hinduism is the product of at least 5,000 years of development, with roots stretching back to the Indus Valley civilisation, which prospered some 4 - 5,000 years ago. However, the origins of this religion are shrouded in mystery and according to Hindu scriptures may be millions of years old. There are many Hindu creation stories but the one given here helps to explain one of the major Hindu beliefs - reincarnation.

This is not the first world, nor is it the first universe. There have been and will be many more worlds and universes than there are drops of water in the holy river Ganges. The universes are made by Lord Brahma the Creator, maintained by Lord Vishnu the Preserver and destroyed by Lord Shiva. Since the universes must be destroyed before they can be recreated, Lord Shiva is called the Destroyer and Re-creator. These three gods are all forms of Supreme One and part of the Supreme One. The Supreme One is behind and beyond all.
After each old universe is destroyed nothing is left but a vast ocean. Floating on this ocean, resting on the great snake Ananta, is Lord Vishnu. Some say that a lotus flower springs from his navel and from this comes Lord Brahma. And it is from Lord Brahma that all creation comes.
How dies Lord Brahma create? Some tell of how he grows lonely and splits himself in two to create male and female. Then he becomes one again and human beings are created. In the same way he creates all the other living things, from the great animals to the tiniest insects. Others say that everything comes from different parts of Lord Brahma's body. All the different animals and all the people come from his mouth, arms, thighs and feet. Everything comes from one - Lord Brahma, who is part of the Supreme One - so everything is part of the Supreme One. For this universe, this world and this Lord Brahma, like all those before and all those to come, will be destroyed by Lord Shiva.
How long is the life of a universe? Its length is beyond imagination. One day to Lord Brahma is longer than four thousand million of the years that we know. Every night when Lord Brahma sleeps the world is destroyed. Every morning when he awakes it is created again. When the Lord Brahma of this universe has lived a lifetime of such days the universe is completely destroyed by Lord Shiva.
Everything disappears into the Supreme One. For an unimaginable period of time chaos and water alone exist. Then once again Lord Vishnu appears, floating on the vast ocean. From Lord Vishnu comes forth Lord Brahma of the new universe and the cycle continues for ever.

This belief in reincarnation, in the cycle of life, strongly influences the lifestyle of may Hindus. It can best be explained by the terms 'dharma' and 'karma'. Dharma may be translated as 'duty' and for Hindus, part of that duty is to respect and care for all living things. The belief that after death we are reborn in another body, not necessarily human, leads to a great respect for all life and results in many cases of vegetarianism. Karma is the result or product of what we do. If we do our duty, then we create good karma, since the next life we may have is directly related to the actions of our present life. To the Hindu, everything is part of the Supreme One, and thus every living thing is equally important in the great cycle of life.

All you want to do is cause drama. Typical white devil
i want some consistency from these abrahamic worshipping fakkits who have been arguing about it for a thousand years. they cant all be right, either one or (probably none) is right.

but no one wants to speak on that. and any 'drama' that i could create is NOTHING compared to what relgiion is responsible for, so with that being said eat a dikk :childplease:

My current girlfriend is an Atheist and most of my girlfriends in the past have either been Atheist, Agnostic, or UU. While I identify myself as a Christan and religious, I can't get down with group think, herd mentality, hatred, legislature guided by religious beliefs, and a whole slew of other things. Church is awkward for me because I feel as if some people need it in order to feel as if they're worshiping correctly, or to get comfort from hearing their own ideas regurgitated. I can walk in a sea of Atheists and not bat an eye, they literally don't bother me. But a group of religious folk gathered around spouting nonsense and each of them mindlessly agreeing is nauseating and scary to me. On the flip side, some of the biggest, most close minded, jerks I've met in my entire life have been Atheists. But just as I know a single person doesn't speak for all religious people, I feel the same for Atheists.

I respect your beliefs, and I'll listen to them, but if your logic needs to start attacking other ideas in order to establish itself, then we're gonna have problems. I'll correct Christians who'll sit around bashing Muslims, Atheists, Jewish folk, etc. with the quickness. There's no place for that. Live your life by your own rules, respect the fact that you want that ability, and do the same for others.

When I chill with my Atheist friends, and it'll come up and I say, 'I'm religious...', they always stop me and say, 'We know you believe in God, but you're NOT that religious.' I don't know exactly how to take it, but I feel they mean it as a compliment. My friends and I openly speak about theology, it always ends pleasantly, and we feel closer and more honest with one another after having done so.

trust me breh the atheist community is even worse and im a non christian

I've met some Atheists who thought it was their personal mission to attack each and every religious person they encountered. Even if it was completely irrelevant to the situation.

Strange.
