Yep I'm skeptical of any cac that is obsessed with the South during the Civil War era.

I tried watching Ken Burn's documentary on the Civil War and I was actually interested in it because I do feel my knowledge of that era of history is lacking. They had that dude Shelby Foote as a "historian" (he turns out to just be a writer on the subject) and he had that old southern drawl with the "aw shucks attitude" and seemed to really admire the confederacy. shyt is was just nauseating to me. Of course come to find out this dude was just as much a racist as his image projects . Didn't finish the series and regret watching it.
